Funding for the MSSB is provided by the United Soybean Board, the Arkansas Soybean Promotion Board, the Louisiana Soybean & Grain Research & Promotion Board, the Mississippi Soybean Promotion Board, the Missouri Soybean Merchandising Council,  and the Texas Soybean Board.

Soybean checkoff funds are used  by this board.
